The first wound treatment clinic in Lithuania and the Baltic States.

Over many years of practice in treating wounds and ulcers, we have seen that they often do not receive the necessary attention and care. In many cases, there is a lack of necessary knowledge or experience, and the healing of wounds is long and exhausting for the patient and their relatives. Our goal is to improve the patient's quality of life by ensuring faster wound healing. We understand that all wounds and ulcers are painful and offer the latest treatment methods for them.

Trophic Leg Ulcer

Trophic leg ulcers are deep, long-healing wounds that most often occur due to poor circulation and insufficient oxygen supply to the feet. These ulcers most commonly affect people with vascular diseases, diabetes, or other chronic diseases that can affect circulation and tissue healing. Up to 10% of people over the age of 70 have trophic leg ulcers.

Diabetic Foot Ulcer

One of the most severe complications of diabetes is the diabetic foot ulcer. It's a common and serious complication in both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. This condition is associated with vascular, nerve, and tissue damage due to prolonged increased blood glucose levels typical in diabetes. About 15% of patients with diabetes suffer from diabetic foot ulcers. Treatment methods for diabetic foot ulcers include wound cleaning, protection from trauma, infection treatment, exudate control, and promotion of healing.

Pressure Ulcers

Pressure ulcers are skin or deeper tissue damage, usually occurring due to prolonged pressure or friction. They can develop on various body parts, especially where pressure is prolonged or constant. The risk of pressure ulcers increases if a person is immobile or has reduced sensitivity due to health issues such as spinal cord injury. These wounds heal very slowly, making proper care extremely important.

Surgical Wounds

A surgical wound is an injury that occurs after a surgical procedure or operation. Sometimes wounds do not heal, even if the surgery itself is successful. Even a minor infection can slow down the healing process. We also treat wounds following plastic surgical procedures when incisions do not heal as planned.

Skin Damage Caused by Treatment of Oncological Diseases

If you are undergoing cancer treatment and receive radiation therapy, there is a risk of developing skin reactions during or after the treatment. Between 80 to 90% of patients treated with radiation for breast cancer suffer from skin reactions. These reactions, called erythema (skin redness), can be painful, irritating, itchy, and aggravating. We can avoid or reduce and control the healing of these wounds.

Epidermolysis

A rare, inherited skin disease. Even a minor injury can lead to blisters, which when burst, open up wounds. Patients need to be very careful with their skin to avoid injury and infection. They cannot bathe in hot water or eat hard or hot food. Blisters need to be dressed with non-traumatic bandages.

Wounds from Accidents

Wounds can occur due to accidents, traumas, cuts, or animal bites. Open wounds can get infected, leading to long treatments, making specialist care necessary for quick wound healing.

Thermal Wounds

Wounds that occur after contact with high or low temperatures. These include various burns, which are very painful, heavily exudative, and often lead to painful blisters. Currently, there are effective aids available that help reduce wound pain and ensure painless wound dressing.
